The Shard Shangri-La, central London, proposal photography

This was an unusual one for me – to photograph an actual proposal! I was contacted by The One Romance – a company that plans wedding proposals – to take part in a planned proposal at the Shangri-la Hotel at The Shard in central London. My job was to capture ‘the down-on-one-knee moment’ as it happened – the emotion, the reaction, the answer! Eek – no pressure there then. I just hoped she’d say yes!
