Angela is the basket maker behind Yorkshire Willow Baskets. She has been commissioned to reproduce the design of a traditional nineteenth century laundry basket from Knaresborough: “It has a very distinctive base, very chunky – with a nineteenth century laundry basket, the washing would have come straight off a mangle so it would have needed to be very strong.”
